    Hi,
I'm new to the forum so I am sorry if this has been already asked. I have got a new i phone (ruined previous one by accidentally putting it in washing machine!?) I've synced everything off i tunes to new phone my photos that were in camera roll have not transferred onto my new phone, can anyone advise how to do this?
    thanks

If you didn't previously backup your Camera Roll then it will unfortunately be gone forever.

    Also, welcome to eiC :)

I have a similar problem. When I upgraded from 3Gs to 4s I lost my camera roll. I did back up old phone and when I went to new phone I have a blank camera roll. When I look on I tunes there is no camera roll on either phone. Basically I can't fine the old camera roll.
Any idea if I'm not looking in the right place?
    Thanks in advance.

Do you still have the 3GS with the pictures on? If you do simply connect your 3GS to your computer and copy the camera roll.

yes I still have the 3Gs. But when I hook to computer it does not show the camera roll in iTunes. Or are you talking about transferring them manually through windows?

    Thanks.

    hi outforit
the way I did it was plugged my new phone in to i tunes , when i phone came up on left hand side under library under devices I right mouse clicked & highlighted restore from back , clicked on my old phone s last back up date & pressed ok it took a while but it transferred everything from my old phones last back up onto my new phone including camera roll & all of my contacts exactly as they were on old phone. good luck
