How we copy links to the app store now?
Used to be you clicked on tell a friend when viewing an app and it took you to your email and you could copy the link. Now it gives you an app icon and a button to click to view this app.
Am I missing something? When I want to put a link in a post to take you to said app how do I do it?

You might as well type the name in google. Something like: "infinity blade 2 us app store"

There's too much fiddling when doing it via the share button.

Didn't think about that. Good point.
Do you agree it has gotten more difficult than it used to be?

On computer:
Click the down arrow and then 'Copy Link' or 'Tell a Friend' here:

On iPhone:
Scroll to the bottom and select 'Tell a Friend':

It has! Geez, they could've at least allowed us to tweet it... Making it look pretty didn't really help.

Tell a friend doesn't give you a copyable link anymore. Just a button and icon.
That's what I'm complaining about.

You can email it to yourself then hold the "View Item" 'til a pop-up comes up. But still, too fiddly!

Gotcha. That works. Seems like to many steps they added. Was so simple to copy link when the email window popped up.

I agree that a link that could be copied directly would be easiest, but you can quickly have the link if you email it to yourself and tap the icon icon in the received email. It's a 15-second roundabout way of getting it. That's not too bad, right? :)

It's a PITA now. Why add more steps? Would be nice if they had a copy link option.

I agree, I don't get why the extra steps, so you can get a nice big icon in the mail?

I wouldn't go so far to say it's a PITA. I timed it and it only takes 15 seconds...

Ok how about just a pain then?
Click tell a friend, email comes up, address to yourself and send it. Fire up email program, wait for it to
Show up ( usually instantly, but not ways ), open the mail, click and hold to copy the link, go back to the forum, click & paste to attach the link.
To me, personally, thats a PITA just to share a link. But I guess that's what we gotta do. :(

alternatively: google "iTunes app store [insert app here]", copy first hit.
