I don't understand the justification for Apple limiting any video app to wifi-only when Youtube works on all antennae.

I'd love to see it, but I agree about the battery life... Its not that great to begin with.

I know, i'm having to charge mine up every single night, i used to get to about a day and a half before needing to charge!

Still looks to be a really cool app

It's unlikely we will see Hulu before 3.0. Hulu would need the streaming media that is in the 3.0 API's so it can inject it's own advertisement in the streams.

The only problem is it would directly compete with AT&T's own TV on phone offerings and they might not like that. The other rumor is that AT&T is the one delaying the Slingbox app since they can't support the bandwidth that Sling would need. It's possible they'd try to pull the same thing with Hulu.

Do you think AT&T will make Apple reject it from the App Store then?

That is also a concern of mine too, that Hulu will be caught up in the Apple approval process and land in limbo. If Hulu is approved by the competition though I think Apple would want to approve Hulu to keep that competitive edge.

It all depends. Honestly I think Apple might not approve Hulu unless they get some extra money to grease the wheels. Hulu would eliminate the need for many people to buy TV shows from iTunes thereforee Apple would end up losing out on money by allowing the Hulu app. If I were Apple I'd be thinking about that, though I can't imagine the money they would lose by allowing Hulu wouldn't be made up for money they made off new iPhones so people could use Hulu mobile or even the money made off Hulu if the Hulu app were to cost money.
