    I own an iPhone 6

Hey guys, I have this problem. I upgraded to iOS 11 (developer beta) last week, and now I want to go back to a more stable version of iOS. I've seen A LOT of videos on YouTube and read articles online about how to do it. I followed the directions exactly like they told me to, but I get this error every time: "This file format is not supported by iTunes" or something like that (can't remember exactly how it was written). I've tried downloading IPSW-files from lots of different sites, but none of them work. I haven't seen anybody else have this problem.
So my question is: Do you guys have any solution for this?

    Sorry for my bad English

Try putting the iPhone in DFU mode before restoring. Post the exact error message if it still doesn't work.

I’m on beta 1 on 5s and its lagging like hell. I don't want to roll back and finally beta 2 is released.

Any idea if lagging issues are ruled out in 2 ?

I'm not on the beta, but many are saying it's much better on beta 2.

Beta 2 way way better. Beta 1 was slower than frozen molasses in Saskatoon. And buggy.....

Also fixes the problem of not being able to downgrade to iOS 10, from what I've read.

If it fixed the problem, then why is it bad?

That reply was on behalf of my friend.

And i was under an impression that any beta version can be rolled back to iOS 10 latest available release.

Never-the-less, am on beta 2 and its pretty smooth than 1

I'm on beta 5 (dev) and its so much better---except it wrecked my wifi and cellular. Works intermittently and when it does work it's slow as hell. Why do I try betas? They aggravate me every time. I m use be a glutton for punishment.

Not a fan of iOS 11 so far. I miss the swipe back to the previous app function. I use it a lot.

It only takes a second to double-tap the home button and choose the app you want.
