You might try Swiftkey. It's a real time saver. But I don't know if it fits your needs. You can check it out here:

Thanks for the suggestion. I plan on using my iPad to write a novel at work and need a physical keyboard.

I have two. One work and one personal. The work one is a Targus case keyboard. I don't like it. My Logitech has certain keys in the right spot like my full sized keyboard. The Targus has the " ' / ; etc I'm funny places.

Is the Logitech the one that's ultra thin? I was looking into that one and actually a my first choice. Does the case itself protect the ipad well? And weight wise does it add a lot?

Thanks

I like the ultra thin as a keyboard, but not as a case. It is too easy for the keyboard to get detached from the iPad. I guess if you used a sleeve, that might be an ok combo.

I haven't used the Zagg case, but have heard lots of good things about them.

If you need a good app for writing, I like Byword. It will sync to your Mac and iOS devices over iCloud.

I was thinking the ultra. It's 100$ though. That plus a sleeve and scratch covers may be too much.

I use pages. And don't have many complaints. Is byword free?
