We shall see if he/Apple wants to help. I am on the phone with them right now.

How many devices are you backing up to iCloud? If more than one, you could start backing up one of them with iTunes. If only one, you could probably toggle off a culprit app that is backing up a couple GB. Paying for more iCloud storage space is completely unnecessary. Your data still syncs between devices even if one is backing up to iTunes.

Hahah! Like you're the only person to ever wait in line for an iPhone! :D

They are sending me a free Apple case. But I'm not really happy about it. I have a lot of junk in my email. Gonna be getting rid of some of it.

That's funny. The postage for the case probably costs them more than the 25Gb.

But if he gets more space for free, why can't you and I and millions of others? I stood in line just like everyone else. That being said, I don't want to try to get more space there. Just trying to make a point.

True. But now they need to give everyone who stood in line a case? Cheaper to give the whiners the space than a case (no offense @Rafagon). But I agree, I'm surprised they didn't tell him to F--- Off (politely).

(I neither stood in line nor want space)

That's what I mean. It's much cheaper to appease people with a case. And yeah, if you call and complain about something they'll probably give you a free case too. They gave me $129 heart rate monitor a couple years ago when I was talking to them about something AT&T had done and not fixed for me. Blew me away because it wasn't even their fault/responsibility.

That sucks. I need the heart monitor, not you.
