I was wondering the same thing. I wish there was a simple winterboard GUI iPhone app for the rest of us that don't know much about editing themes. This app could allow us to choose icon font, color, size. And we could choose a few wallpapers, then choose the interval time for it to change the wallpaper every x hours.

In either cydia or installer, there is an app called Rename, which lets you change the names of your icons. I would email the developer and ask them if they could make it so we could change the color too. I don't have the contact info, but if you search, you will find the app.

In what folder does the icon text reside?

Changing the color in the info.plist file for the theme should work.

I know I can change the icon text color within a particular theme, but I'm interested in changing the system font color, which includes the icon text.
