I want to become Apple Technician Certified. Independently. I applied and was offered a job at our local Apple Store because the pay was a drop and the drive made it less attractive but the experience I would have gained would have been invaluable to me. So I want to take the next step on my own.

I'm looking for advice on what books to get, how valuable would the seminars be? I live in central Ga and would be traveling 2 hours to the seminars.

Please help, I'm anxious to make my first move. I am currently studying for CompTia A+ exam.

It's weird how difficult it is to become an Apple Employee when all the ones I've dealt with actually suck. lol

I'm sorry, I don't have any suggestions, but I wish you the best of luck in what you're seeking.

Here in GA there are Apple authorized stores that aren't "Apple stores" their employees get the same training. These stores are just
Used in smaller markets.

I have noticed how employee knowledge and customer service has gone down hill over the years.
