I've tried EVERY solution I've seen online and none have worked, iMessage & FaceTime are still stuck in "waiting for activation" I can only use my Apple ID for both services but not my number. Has anyone had this issue? Any suggestions?

How long has it been stuck? What have you tried?

It's been stuck since last week, I've tried many things like turning iMessage off/on, ejecting the SIM, hard resets, removing/adding the Apple ID, wiping phone and restoring from back up, set up as new iPhone. There's more methods I've tried but they didn't work either.

Do you have any other OS/iOS devices to try this on or currently using iMessaging?

I had a similar problem. Only way I got it to work was to turn off iMessages on all devices then turn it on in iPhone first.

Would it have anything to do with switching carriers and phones but having the same number? Because I went from a 4S on Fido to a 5 on Telus

I went from Verizon back to AT&T. Works fine. I assume your Mini and iPhone are on the same carrier? Not sure if it matters though....

Got it. It should not be a problem. Did you try switching all off and then enabling on iPhone first?

Yes, and no luck. I'm currently on the phone with Apple but no luck so far.
