Installed iOS 5 - Jailbreak?

So I installed OS 5.1 and when I went to activate it cydia is missing, what did I do wrong?

hmm... 5.1 doesn't exist yet.

Go to Settings->General->About->Version and tell us what it says there.

Is your iDevice registered to a developer account...? or are you using "unofficial" methods to activate your iDevice..? Need more information on your set up...? what jailbreak method are you using..? The latest version of IOS is 5.0 beta 5 I thought...?

Yup, the lates firmware is iOS 5 beta 5. Beta 6 should be out soon, though.

My latest firmware is 5.0, I went to the jailbreak matrix link from this site, and followed the instructions and I downloaded firmware 5b1, I used snowbreeze 2.8before and everything went OK but there is no cydia app, and according to the instructions I need cydia to load some source files to activate my phone, please help

Not sure but I think your using the wrong version of Snowbreeze...? ver 2.8before should correspond to IOS5.0before...sn0wbreeze2.8b5 is now available for IOS 5.0b5.....try again download the latest ios beta and use the corresponding jailbreak tool version.

edit:You should always use the latest IOS beta firmware as this will be the most stable and will have the most options available
