iOS 6.1.3 is available for OTA or iTunes install. If you have a jail broken phone phone it is recommended you don't download this update yet. Per an article in iClarified "Jailbreakers should not update to iOS 6.1.3 as it will likely remove the ability to jailbreak." My phone is not jail broke so I just downloaded and installed it OTA without problem. Allegedly, it contains a fix for the lockcode screen bug that allows someone to bypass the lockscreen and improvements to the Maps in Japan.

This thread will be for general (non-jailbreak) discussion of iOS 6.1.3. I started a thread about this update in the jailbreak forum. If anyone has any questions or comments about 6.1.3 from a jailbreak standpoint, please post them here. Thanks.

Is there a way to upgrade to 6.1.2 from 6.1 now? I didn't get the chance to update before 6.1.3 came out due to me traveling. I'm 6.1 iPhone 5 jail broken.

Pretty sure you haven't got a chance. Apple have stopped signing 6.1.2

Just seen confirmation that 6.1.3 has patched the exploits that evasi0n use so if you update you lose your jailbreak.....bad times

Kudos for posting this guideline for the posts in this thread. Very much appreciated!

... Which apparently some didn't read very carefuly. I saw the word "jailbreak" a few times after your informative post...

Hi Jon35y. Just as a heads-up, Europa was kind enough to write a post right here in this thread where she mentioned she created a separate thread specifically for the discussion of 6.1.3/jailbreak/evasi0n, etc.

To echo what she said, you may discuss 6.1.3/jailbreak/evasi0n concerns to your heart's content AT THIS THREAD:

Yes I must apologise for that, got a bit carried away but wanted to let the person know that he/She would lose the jailbreak if updated.

Well if it's in the best interest of someone who may lose their jailbreak, then I think you did just fine by posting it right here! I know the importance of keeping a jailbreak for those in the jailbreak community.

I hope there's some tiny hidden improvement not mentioned in the release notes somewhere. This is one of the most lackluster updates I've ever seen.
We get a lot of security updates like this. 6.1.2 was just as featureless. It was just an exchange bug fix. This is just a security update to fix the lockscreen vulnerability and to patch the exploits used by evasi0n.
