I've noticed a considerable drain in my battery since the download yesterday.. Anyone else? Any suggestions? Is this gonna need a fix? Thoughts.

I think mine is actually holding up a little longer than it used to. I will have to see what a full charge can get me later on and I will report back.

I just noticed the same thing. My poor little 4s battery appears to be draining very quickly.

2 hours and 9 minutes I'm at 53% battery life.. With IOS 6, I would still have around 80%.. This is not cool at all..

I would go to Settings -> General -> Background App Refresh to pick which apps should be doing background app activity. Either that or turn the whole thing off and start adding the apps in one-by-one.

I noticed some battery drain too, nothing really crazy but enough for me to notice. I found some articles w/some tips, there's the obvious stuff like brightness, location services etc. I turned off a few things that are specific to iOS 7. We'll see if it helps out.

    1. Dynamic Wallpaper in Settings---> Wallpapers & Brightness it's really cool but it will kill your battery faster -- think about Android's w/the live wallpapers etc.

    2. Parallax - you can turn this down in Settings---> Accessibility--- "Reduce Motion" (It doesn't turn parallax off completely but you can reduce the motion effects)

    3. Background Apps Refresher - you can turn off the feature in Settings---> General--- "Background Apps Refresh" It keeps apps refreshed in the background. If you keep lots of apps open all the time and turn this off your results should improve.

Those are the main ones that I found, if other ppl figure some more stuff out please share. I really like iOS 7 so far.

My battery is draining very quickly since the upgrade on my iPhone 5. I used to have 40% at least after the work day. Today, I had to charge at 3pm. The only difference is iOS7.

Everyone should do a reset by holding down the home and lock buttons until the Apple logo pops back up to see if that helps. And removing backround refresh apps as already mentioned, and adding them back one by one over time. A pain, but it may help some of you. The battery on my 5 is just fine.

I know... Just trying to see if it's the wifi radio issue or not.

I'm not really sure. No wifi isn't really an option.

Had another thought: I have auto update turned on for apps. I'd bet that the developers are pushing iOS 7 updates and that might drain the battery since there are so many.

Mine drained the battery before noon the day I upgraded. Has been pretty much normal since. The phone spent all morning updating apps. Now it's fine. Give it a few days.

I've noticed the battery on my 4S draining a lot faster since I updated. Then again, I've been on it almost constantly tonight checking the Apple Store App and reorganizing my home page and just generally playing with it. I've got App Refresh turned off, brightness turned down low to be safe. We'll see how it does once I get back to "normal" use, if that even happens before my 5S arrived, lol.
