Upgrade soon to iOS 8.1 if you haven't already. According to weibo.com, 8.1.1 Beta 1 will not be jailbreakable via the present exploit used by the Pangu team.

The Pangu team seems pretty determined and creative, though, and I'm sure we'll see a functioning jailbreak for the new firmware in the near future.

As comfy as I am with my 5s jailbroken on 7.0.4, I finally feel compelled to update to 8.1 and jailbreak.

Oh, is there a Mac tool yet?

Probably at least a couple of weeks, but you never know.

No Mac tool yet, unless you use Bootcamp or Parallels.

iOS 8.1.1 Beta 1 is no longer being signed and signs are pointing to a pretty quick release. Keep this in mind, jailbreakers.

Well that's a bummer. My phone is supposed to arrive between December 5 and December 15. From this it looks like it will likely have 8.1.1 on it.

Here's hoping for an early delivery.
