iPad 2 not downloading

Hello every one,
So I'm logged on a new network on my Ipad 2 and when I'm trying to download any app it's gives me the error message of " a secure connection could not be found, please check your date and time settings" does any one had that problem before. How is it resolved. Thanks in advance

Go to settings>general>date & time.
Turn off "set automatically" after that click on "set day and time" make sure the date is correct, for some strange reason sometimes its messed up, I've seen some set in the 60s and 70s.

That did it, thanks for the quick response. Now do I leave the time and ate settings to manual mode?
