Hello,

I have an iPhone 3g black 8gb. This is not jailbroken. This morning i updated to the 3.0 and when i tried to activate in iTunes I get this message:

we could not complete your iTunes store request. the network connection was reset.

make sure your network connection is active and try again.

Now my phone is stuck with the iTunes plug and only can make emergency calls.

Can someone help? I can not find anything on google

Well, maybe not. When I try to update, it downloads the update, gets to the extraction stage, and then gives me a message that says: "The iPhone [name] cannot be updated at this time because the iPhone activation server is temporarily unavailable." I've tried it three times, with the same result. Is this just the Apple servers being overwhelmed, or is there another problem?

Thanks.

It looks like it was just the server being busy. I just tried again and the update installed. Now I have to see what it does. <g>
