I have a iPhone 3G, that I recently got. When I got it it was already jailbroken and unlocked. When I tried to connect to my PC it wouldn't even show it's trying to detect it. I have no clue how fix it. HELPPPPPP!

- iPhone 3G 16 GB JB and unlocked
- iOS 3.0
- IBM T42 Windows 7 Proffesional

Hello:)

Try the simple stuff first...make sure your USB cable that hopefully came with the 3G iPhone is original and in good order....can it be tried with another iDevice you have or can borrow..?

Run iTunes and connect your iPhone...place iPhone in DFU mode(use YouTube for more info):) ....see if your iPhone is connected ....if all is good...Restore to the latest firmware 4.2.1
