iPhone 4S Back Panel

ive had the iPhone 4s for about 4 m onths now and have just noticed that if i tap the back of the phone at a cetain plae it sounds loose. not the whole back is loose just a small section. it seems to be just in from the corner. is this something to worry about or is this normal?

Hm, hard to say. I just tapped the back of my phone all over and it sounds fine, but I don't really know what I'm listening for. If you're concerned, take it to an Apple store.

it sounds like a hollow tap, like when you have not secured the glass corectly

This has been fairly well documented.
Conventional wisdom is that rattle is from the camera lenses.

I had a 3gs do the same thing I think you are describing but on the front screen (duh). I took it to Apple and they replaced the whole phone! The screen was lifting up and dust was getting underneath. Mine was making a popping noise.
