I am looking to get it but I have read that sprints service is very slow. What should I do?

It really depends where you are. I have found it to be quite fast on Sprint, even better than my Evo was on 3G, but I am in a very good coverage area, just near Seattle.

Sprints biggest enemy is their own network. It's fast some places, and turtle slow in others that they claim as 3G.

I hear Sprint is offering unlimited data with the 4s. Very sweet!
Wish they offered that here :-(
Yep! My teenager is on my plan and I couldn't afford the bill if it wasn't unlimited. LOL

I'm using my 4S on Sprint.
While my speed tests show low numbers, I have not had any complaints so far with real world usage.
Keep in mind however that Sprint just announced data caps for users that are tethering.

No problems on Sprint here in S0. California... It's fast and the unlimited data IS an awesome feature....

Northern NJ with Sprint here. Great coverage and very good network speeds. I did the speed test at Pace.com (formerly 2Wire.com) and got 2.3MB download speeds.

Sprint is just beginning a massive network upgrade now. This is a massive capital project and is expected to show positive results for users almost immediately.
