Hi
Thanks for replying. The light I'm reffering to is a bit tough to describe. It's the "light"
that appears when I swipe the screen to view the home screen.
It does not go out as its always have after not using the phone for a few minutes.
It's not the flashlight...hope this helps narrow it down.
Cheers

When you swipe the screen to go back to the homescreen? I'm unsure if this is what you're referring to.

If you're talking about when your phone is locked and you unlock it, maybe you can set auto brightness to off in settings-brightness and you can manually change it to your liking.

If not this, I do hope someone can assist you.

Welcome to the forum. :)

Thanks again
Yes, it's the screen that appears showing all the icons of the vatious programs. When I swipe the black screen to open it from the locked position it "lights-up".
After not using the phone for a few minutes this screen showing the icons used to go out and now stays on.
I hope this rather vague description helps.

Have you checked your Auto-Lock settings in Settings>General>Auto-Lock?

Wow
That worked! Thanks very much. I just spent over an hour trying to solve the problem
and you did it in only a few minutes. They obliously don't pay you enough. :)
I really appreciate it.
By the way, you've got a great name.

Hello. What light are you referring to? The brightness?
Problem solved! Thanks again
By the way, is that a Golden Retriever in you picture? I've had 3 over the years. Great dogs.

You're very welcome. I was trying to understand the issue. I understood it but am currently in class. :) Don't tell the professor!

Yes, it's a golden retriever, female. We got her from Michigan, and she is roughly around 15 years old. Of course she is now tired and has a somewhat bad leg, but she is still sweet as heck, and she even still plays sometimes with our other baby dog, a snouzher. We've had the golden retriever, Mandy, since I was roughly 7 or 8 years old.

15! You must have taken very good care of her. Now as far as being in "Class" goes, I think your professor should know you're in a class of you own!

I'm only in the second row so I'm surprised he hasn't said anything to me ever.

As far as our dog, she has been spoiled as all of our dogs have been. She is a fantastic dog as she always has been.

Message me if you love animals and would like to continue talking about them. I miss my bunny so much! He lived longer than most bunnies normally do.

He usually sits in the corner.

Just kidding! :D
I should if I get caught using my phone. I should be thrown out haha. But I've never been caught using my phone in class. One time a teacher thought I was, but then said I just grabbed a tissue out of my pocket to use. That was when I was in high school.
