I was wondering based on previous years does anyone know what will happen to the iPhone 5 32GB after the iPhone 5S is unveiled? I understand the 16GB drops $100 but it seems Apple doesn't stock the 32GB of the iPhone 4S. Basically I'm wondering if after September 10 is the iPhone 5 32GB going to be cheaper and will it be still around or pulled off shelves?

It will drop by $100 if the past trends continue.
I actually had the same question, bc if I want to get my parents the iPhone 5 32G, it would seem that they will discontinue that model as soon as announcement is made. Since 16G is lowest model, that will be the one they keep on the shelves and drop to $100.
That is the trend of the iPhone 4s. Has anyone heard different for iPhone 5?

It's my opinion that the iPhone 5 gets discontinued once the iPhone 5S is released. In in interim, you'll see good deals at the various carriers, but they won't last long.

I could be wrong and it could be slotted at $99. It's still an amazing phone and at $99 (on contract), it's the best out there by far.

Walmart is selling the 5 now for $98... I agree with Chris, I think it will be discontinued. Third party retailers will put them on sale to get rid of remaining stock and in a few months they will be gone...

Yeah but that $100 is only for the 16GB, not the 32GB. I haven't seen any deals for that and I was wondering if anyone thinks the price will dip since my sister needs 32GB but wants a good deal on an iPhone.

I don't think Wally World sells the 32G. They always just sell iPhone with the lowest space.

As it turns out, Walmart does sell the 32G and 64G iPhone 5, but only on non-contract carriers (Net 10, etc.).

Did anyone else notice that buying an iPhone 5 doesn't seem to be an option anymore?

Yep. It's gone. EOL. You can find at carriers and retailers, but not for long. I suspect they'll start selling them for $99 on contract. The iPhone 5c has virtually the same specs, outside of the casing. Plastic vs aluminum.
