My thoughts on the iPhone 7 (Plus): It's my first Plus, so it's huge and I really like it. The display is amazing! The speakers aren't terrible, but not as nice-sounding as I had hoped. I really like the camera and the optical zoom works well. It takes amazing photos. I have beta 1 of 10.1 and the bokeh effect is sweet.
It's fast, but a tad laggy/jerky when opening/closing some apps, at least in my experience.
The matte black color looks sweet!
Bluetooth seems a bit better. The signal seems stronger and I can use my BT earphones farther away from the phone than I could with the 6S.
I haven't tried the Lightening EarPods because I never did like how they fit.

So if you have your iPhone 7 already, what are your thoughts?

You might want to try these if you'd like to use the EarPods. They'll certainly help with the fit.

I don't have the 7 yet (avail. for upgrade in Dec.), but I'm very curious to know if the camera, especially in low light & video mode, is as good as Samsungs latest releases. If not, I'm hanging on to this 6plus for the 7s as much as I want a smaller phone.

I think the general consensus is that the Samsung camera is still slightly better. Does have the "bokeh" function, though (I'm on iOS 10.1 beta 1).

Thx Napoleon PhoneApart. I don't like androids, but am impressed by their pics ! I'm buying a camera soon (Sony a7rii or Canon eos 5d Mark 3), and while doing research for my needs, Samsung has some nice cameras but they're so expensive !

Just so you know, I didn't link to the Samsung cameras. The forum software does this.
I'm not sure what you mean ^ .

Hey, I just noticed you're in Upper Marlboro !! In the 70's I lived on AAFB, and I went to James Madison Jr High during the time they were bussing in students from DC !!!! I thought you were in California for some reason.

I taught my sister to drive in the parking lot of James Madison Junior High back in the early 70s. She froze on the accelerator of my '64 VW bug and flew up on the curb onto the grassy area next to Woodyard Road. :D

I live about five minutes from the school.

So, did you go there ? I went there in 1974-75. I have my yearbook pic !! We ended up moving to McLean, VA after. Do you remember the bussing fuss ?!?! It was that year that integration started --can't believe I got to experience that part of history !!!

I graduated from Gwynn Park High School in 1974. That school was already integrated and we all pretty much got along.
