I'm seeing rumors on iClarified, CNET and other sites, about the iPhone 8's fingerprint sensor being relocated to the back of the phone below the Apple logo. I hope Apple does not place the fingerprint sensor on the back of the new iPhone 8. For me, that location will greatly hinder one handed use of the phone that I am accustomed to and make it really hard to access while the phone is clipped into a holder in my car. (Relax Y'all, I don't use the phone while driving except to wake it up with a fingerprint then use the "Hey Siri" command.) Placing the sensor on the back will be a deal breaker for me.
Note to Mods: if there is already a proper place for iPhone 8 posts or one is created, feel free to move this post to where it belongs.

I hope you're right, the back is an idiotic location for a fingerprint sensor.

Rumor has it a new 10th anniversary phone will come out along with the 7s and 7s Plus. The latest rumor says it will be called the iPhone Edition. But Apple hasn't said a word.
