iPhone as a mass storage device ?

    hi, can i use , some how, my iPhone as a mass storage device without the need of installing some software everytime i will connect it to PC ? can i just plug it in and will it be detected as a mass storage ?

    Nope. The iPhone cannot be managed manually like an iPod.

    I am thinking he is not allowed to install any software on one of the PC's he is trying to move files to via his phone.

    This is a step in the right direction, but it's Mac OS only. The ideal solution would be for Apple to enable file management on the iPhone. Even with only 8GB, it would still be a hugely valuable function - in my opinion it's as important as cut and paste.

    Yes but we also know how much Apple values cut and paste :laugh2:
