Try either what Greg suggested, or hold down both the lock and power buttons.

Yeah, set it to whatever length of time you prefer. I usually keep mine set to 2 minutes. That's seems to be long enough to read something on the phone before it goes black and helps the battery last a bit longer.

I have mine set to never, as I have a tendency to get up and walk away from it and not have to turn it back on when I get back.

Doesn't that kill your battery? I have mine set to 1 minute, but I could probably do 2. Most of the time I hit the sleep button anyway.

mine is set to never. it only kills your battery if
you leave it on :)
