I just recently received my iPhone and it doesn't seem to pick up any wifi signal. I finally got it to pick my home one up but I had to stand right in front of the router.I had an iPod touch sitting right next to my iPhone and it was picking up two signals and mine wasn't picking up any.

I am new to all of this so any info would be helpful. Thanks.

Reboot; if that doesn't fix it, bring it back.

not to hijack the thread but has anybody been experiencing the constant, asking for the wifi password?

im having the same problem. my wifes iPhone doesn't pickup and mine does in our house.

i upgraded to 3.0 - same
restored - same

sometimes it picks up but for a min or 2 that's all.

i removed the case thinking it had something to do with it. and nothing

phone is not jailbroken either.

Try Settings:General:Reset:Reset Network Settings.

Yeah same thing but I just tap on it and it comes back.
