I think Alex is trolling us. I've never seen anyone with so many weird issues on his devices. If I'm wrong, I'll accept that but wow, what an unlucky guy!

I agree, how would the pins get bent? I just looked at the port on my iPhone 7 and cannot come up with any way the pins could get bent unless something was inserted into the charging port that didn't belong there. Toothpick, straight pin, paper clip or curious kids maybe?? No way an Apple approved charging cord could do that kind of damage. JMHO

Especially to two separate devices. I've read so many of his other threads on here and other forums that I'm immediately suspicious and skeptical.

Would Apple Care+ cover it is anybody's guess as none of us has ever heard of it happening. Best to call Apple and ask them since the decision is theirs anyway. Good luck.

Not much statistical significance there.
I check my iPad has no bent pins at all the only thing it did get caught with when it was charging the light cord on my iPad was with a bag of old iPad case the maybe the weight of the bag with the cases caused pressure to the light cord when it was plugged into my iPad

So...it was you're fault, then, not a manufacturing defect.
