Ten years seems excessive...I doubt anyone will be using these current iPhones 3 years from now.

True but how awesome would it be to have a battery guaranteed for the next 3 years (or however long you use it)?

It wouldn't matter to me because I have never had a cell phone for more than a year, besides that point I plan on getting the next iPhone which I anticipate releasing in less than two years....
