Hi,I got a iPhone 3GS with 6.15.00.
I tried to update through iTunes and now I'm stuck on connecting to iTunes.

I tried ireb, tiny umbrella, and I also tried restoring through iTunes,I tried red snow and that doesn't help, and restoring with custom 4.1 firmware is not working either it says it is not compatible.

Could you please help me out
Cheers

I had this happen to me with my old 3G. It's because of the baseband which belongs to a iPad

Type in the description in you tube and there are videos and links to what you need to do.

Hope this helps

All non-custom firmware restores will fail since the phone has the iPad baseband. The custom 4.1 firmware restore will work as long as you have a 4.1 SHSH on file in Cydia and you've modified your hosts file to redirect to Saurik's server.

Have a look at this, it worked like a charm for me, just make sure you have your SHSH's saved though in cydia.
Bare in mind though that this was used on a pc running windows 7. Use snowbreeze or pwnage tool because you have the ipad's baseband.
