So I don't have any more warranty and my iPhones wake sleep is in a loop of turning itself off and on. I doesn't respond to when you click it and it pretty much sucks. Any suggestions of what to do? 3rd Party Repair Shops? Help Please!

Even though it's out of warranty, why not take it to an Apple store? Make an appt. at the Genius Bar.

Although, someone here might know how to fix it. :)

Thats what I was thinking, but i just thought i'd come here first. Do you think i could just sell it and buy a 3G?

If you sell it, you'd have to notify the buyer that the sleep/wake button is not functioning properly.

Someone might still want to buy it and try and get it fixed, though.

That decision is completely up to you. I have a 3G and love it. Not sure everyone would agree right now given current 3G issues ;)

Definitely doesn't sound legit at all to me either. Just go to the Apple store, tell em your problem and they should help you.

You might get lucky with a friendly genius. He could determine that it is a common problem and cover the repair for you.
