A week ago I brought my 2nd gen Nano into Apple Store for repair. It was one week away from the warranty running out. They replaced my Nano but charged me a 29.99 service fee because I was in the 2nd half of my one year warranty period. What a crock! ... I paid it but could not find anything in my warranty stating this fee. I called APPLE and true to form they said it was a fee that they charged for service since I did not mail it in and pay the 29.99 shipping handling fee.

Anyhow, Now I must bring my iPhone in for service. Will they cahrge me a fee? Or a Fee if the must swap it out?

Thanks

They shouldn't charge you a fee. I've seen a lot of people here take theirs in without having to pay a fee.

Let's hope they don't try and do that when I take my MBP in. The battery capacity just went from 5400 maH down to 2700 overnight. Looks like it was a known issue though and they claim they'll fix it for free.
