The damn thing didn't back up for a month for some reason so I'm going to lose a bunch of important information. Is there a way to take out the memory inside and install it in another iphone to at least get my pictures back? Lost of honeymoon pictures on this phone.
I already left it in a sealed bag of rice for 4 days and tried turning it on... nope.. it wont even take a charge(the battery case acts like its not even connected to an Iphone)

There has to be a way to get those pictures right? I'm willing to spend what ever amount of money to get those pictures back. I'm in Fiji right now and I don't trust the cellphone repairs shops in the city here but I'm going to take it to a repair shop when I get back to the states in a few days.

Sorry but it's probably a paperweight.

My son recently went through something similar and he lost a ton of photos and work data that he had not backed up..

He took it to Apple and to several of those repair type shops.. It was 110% toast!

Putting phone in rice is utter rubbish...just pot luck if it works after a rice dipping..
Send your phone to Jessa for a quality data recovery service..

The rice trick MIGHT work for phones that were exposed to or submersed in water for only a second or two while in protective cases. Beyond that, your data is probably trashed and unrecoverable except for what was sent to the cloud or computer at the time of your last backup. Another reason to Backup, Backup, Backup!!! If there is a problem backing up get it resolved ASAP. Sorry to say, you now know why.

30 minutes is too long. You may have a back up in iCloud. You can log in at iCloud.com on your computer and see.

Apple makes it incredibly easy to back up your data or store it in the cloud. Why wouldn't you take advantage of that?
