My phone will be here by 4:30 I won’t get my watch until 10/1-10/8. I chose the loop instead of sports band. I could have got the one with the sports band today but that’s what I usually get so I wanted to try something different this time.
I ordered the one with loop and it‘s coming today. I will return it I really want the steel case with the Milanese Loop. I wish I looked at YouTube prior. I believe the steel case matches the phone better. OCD

Just picked up my 246GB Max at my local UPS CC.
Great for you! I also ordered the 256 GB size. I've never seen such a screw up by UPS with tracking information. This morning it is now saying my tracking information can't be found. Others on MacRumors are having the same issues however.

My phone arrived at the UPS CC at 0819, which means they flew it here rather than driving it down from SLC like they normally do.

I just got an email saying my phone and case are ready for pickup. I’ll go get them on my lunch break.

I still need to get Apple care . Which option is everyone getting ? The $299 or $199 option ?
I got this phone on the iPhone Upgrade Program, which includes AppleCare+. I didn’t opt to pay extra for the theft/loss coverage.

I'm loving this new iPhone Xs Max. It is so much sleeker and feels less bulkier compared to the 7 Plus. I don't think it is huge at all like the commentators and media says it is. I don't have large hands either. Only issue I had with setup is I had to call AT&T to set up my phone service. It never transferred over from Apple. But all is good now.

AppleCare+ hasn’t been activated for many people who used the iPhone Upgrade Program. It appears to be a glitch. They closed quite early tonight, so I couldn’t talk to a specialist. Apple verified it’s not showing up, though. I plan on calling AppleCare first thing in the morning and getting it straightened out.

I verify it every year on launch day and it’s always shown up right after purchase, until this year.

Hi Guys!
After talking to UPS International, I was able to have my iPhone delivered to the local UPS Store while we’re gone. Do you guys know how long they’ll hold it for me? We won’t be back from Europe until October 4th and it’s saying it will be delivered on the 28th. I hope they’ll hold it that long. I’m kind of nervous even though I talked to a couple of people at the UPS Store and they seemed to think it was fine. I left a “Pre Delivery” signature with them just in case, but I imagine they’ll just hold it for me and when I pick it up, I’ll sign for it then. Sound about right? Thanks!!

Typically 5 days, but I would speak with the manager there and explain your situation.

I called AppleCare today and they are completly swamped and overwhelmed with problems, but taking the weekend off. Apple said they will have an AppleCare specialist call me within the next 14 business days to straighten this out. Lol. I wish I were joking. I kinda feel like Clark Griswald when he was about to punch Marty Moose in the face. We watch their Keynotes, we buy their phones, they owe us, right?!

I think we feel that way now more than ever since the new iPhones have become so pricey. We expect the best customer service experience, and rightly so.

Yep. The lady at UPS CC on Friday asked me if it was an iPhone I got. She said they are nice, but $1,000 is way too much to spend on a phone so she might get an XR instead. I was thinking I wish it was only a $1,000. After tax and AppleCare+, it’s much closer to $1500 than $1,000.

Exactly, remember the good ol' days when you could buy the iPhone starting at $299 and trade in your older iPhone and make a profit. Of course they were also subsidized and a fraction of the ability of today's iPhones.

For the last 3 yrs, I’ve stopped making a pre-order and just shown up at my local ATT store a little before 8 am. This year I was 5th in line and had no problem getting my 256 Space Gray Max. Same for last year’s X.
