    There's an iPhone 4G out?

If you mean the iPhone 4, it's under settings|general|usage.

It's under settings/general/usage on the iPhone. Not sure exactly where it is on the iPod touch.

You can jailbreak your iPod Touch to get that feature.

They call the iPhone 4, iPhone 4G that's the name of the phone. Even know that it doesn't have 4G.

If you don't want to jailbreak, you can download an app like Appzilla 2 as a workaround. You have to open the app and select Battery in order to see the battery's remaining lifespan in % format, which is possibly two more steps than you were hoping to have to perform, but it IS a way to see the % of battery remaining on an iPod Touch.

On an iPod touch? Not very good. I got 4 hrs web surfing on an iPod touch 3rd gen iOS 5.0b1. Turning on airplane mode if you're just playing games saves a lot of juice.
