This morning on my maps site ( www.iTouchMap.com ) I noticed my first sighting of what I am pretty sure is the iPodTouch. For those who have websites and look at the UserAgent what it looks like is....

Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/3A100a Safari/419.3

The iPhone appears as...

Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/1C28 Safari/419.3

LOL

The user agent string is what the browser sends to the Internet site to tell it what type of browser the person is using. Sometimes the site looks at it so as to format a reply which is suited to that particular browser.
