So in irder to actuvate my iPhone I need to enter by SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER into iTunes and then click submit?!? Where does it go from there?

I noticed in the video they scrolled through the EULA rather quickly. Does any one know if iTunes will be encrypting your info while in transit?

The iPhone supports "secure" communication. Jobs mentioned this in the Macworld keynote. So I'm sure this is secure.

Umm, iPhone and iTunes are different.

I realized after I posted this though that iTunes already deals with CC numbers so it probably uses SSL on the backend.

I'm sure its secure. Theres no way they'd get away with it not being secure.

SSL Encrypted since it stores your CC number for purchases.

If you're concerned about security, check out Apple's Privacy Policy which details what Apple does with your information and how it collects it (the Apple iTunes Music Store--which the iPhone will use and Apple's Store Online both use SSL btw).
