It removes the jailbreak detection in most cases.

Ah thanks ! Do you know how I install it because I can't see it on cydia or do you know a source I can add?
Because the file you download is a .deb file. Thanks

I tried the first beta when it came out and it crashed to safe mode. Will try the newest one.

Question: can I download it via safari and open the .deb via ifile? Or do I need to SSH in. Sorry for the stupid question.

You can use iFile.

Really sorry for the late update... Just had a chance to try it now.
I followed the instructions and the.deb does not install on my iPhone, created the cydia folder and the auto installer folder right where it said :(

As an alternative to XCon, you might want to give TsProtector P a try. I've had success in the apps I needed it for.

I just installed TsProtector P on my 5s and it works for the one app I had trouble with. It's an app that allows Texas TollTag users to manage their accounts. Not critical since I rarely use the toll roads, but nice to know I was able to defeat the jailbreak detection! :)

I guess I will bring this back to life as I'd like something. Is there a tweak that is free that will stop apps knowing my device is jailbroken? The beta version of xCon causes all apps to crash.
