Is there a way to get the Apple Watch app without upgrading to 8.2?

I doubt it. I would think it's more likely that there will be a jailbreak for iOS 8.2. Maybe someone will chime in regarding the status of that update. Now that the Apple Watch is coming, there certainly would be incentive to release a jailbreak for iOS 8.2.

Chiming: No real news yet. I'm sure it will happen, but not sure whether they will wait until 8.3

What does this mean??? Is this not the jb for 8.2 or is it a testing beta version?

The jailbreak worked on beta 1 and 2 before 8.2 was officially released. There is currently no jailbreak for the public/final 8.2 firmware.
