Nope, iTunes is strictly a pay per download kind of deal.

If they did it would be cheaper to buy the song individually probably.

I agree. Would never happen. Hey would lose so much money.
Fifty bucks for unlimited downloads and you could download tens of thousands of dollars in a month. Easy.

Just face it owning an iProduct hits the pocketbook.....that's why you pay for memory upgrade their a tier class:
    1) 8GB- hey I got an iPhone
    2) 16GB- I got an iPhone to use apps or music maybe some of both
    3) 32GB- I got an iPhone for apps music and whatever I can download
    4) 64GB- I got the iPhone had the cash and wanted to make sure I can use and download anything I come across

Most people are in the upper 2 catagories so unlimited downloads would just force them to spend more for memory they normally wouldn't use. So Unlimited downloads never gonna happen!

Sent from my 32GB iPhone 4s on iOS 5.1!
Only thing iPhone is missing is an expandable memory port! Come on Apple give us a microSD port already!

If they did unlimited downloads for a flat price, then I would have a much bigger music library!

I always hoped they would offer a Zune like subscription service. An all you can eat buffet of music, that would only expire if you stopped paying the monthly fee. I think I paid something like $10-$12 and I was able to get 10 songs for free. It made me buy more music and I was able to download, trial music I wouldn't normally buy. It helped me find a number of good artists and songs.

I must say that at times, it felt like work. Your 10 song credit expires at the end of the month if you don't specify which ones you want. I'd remember on day 30 and it became a last minute thing too many times. I ended up canceling the service and now I'm 100% iTunes.

I can't ever see iTunes/Apple allowing a paid monthly unlimited download of music.
