Is there an Apple Store at their headquarters in Cupertino?

Deep in the heart of Texas
I am traveling to the Bay Area this week, and was told I should check out the Apple Store on the main Apple campus. However, I can't seem to find any info, that there actually is a store on the campus. The info comes from a friend who works for Apple Corporate here in Austin, but he admitted he had never actually been there. Just wondering if there really is a store there or is there a giant flagship store in the area I should check out? Thanks!

I used to live in the Bay Area and have been to Apple's company store many times. It is at their headquarters at 1 Infinite Loop in Cupertino in building 1. It's not like your average Apple store – it's actually not very big and they don't carry a lot of the computer line-up, though they do have software and peripherals. What they do sell that other Apple stores don't sell are t-shirts, jackets, mugs, pens, and a bunch of other Apple paraphernalia that you can't get anywhere else. It's worth a trip to see and to pick up some special Apple gear (people often re-sell it on eBay since it's so hard to find, though they limit the quantities you can buy in that store because they know this happens so often). You won't be able to get onto the Apple campus without an employee escort, though you can go into the main lobby of building 1 and look around. It's a nice campus.

There's a restaurant called B.J.'s at the edge of the main parking lot in front of Building 1. The food there is just okay (on par with a Macaroni Grill, roughly) but a lot of Apple employees go there for lunch and happy hour if you're into that sort of thing.
