So I get home and try to activate the phone, but I get an error message in iTunes and it won't let me activate the phone. I've been on hold with AT&T for like 45 min now.

Any ideas?

iTunes' servers are really overloaded. You most likely won't get through to activation until late tonight or tomorrow.

You have to keep unplugging the phone and plugging it back in. That is how I got my fiance's and my phone to sync. Apple is getting slammed right now with so many people that are activating.

Yes, at this point even the iTunes 7.7 update is taking forever to go through. It's that everyone is trying to do this all at the same time, I updated 7.7. last night to get ready for this but my husbands computer took forever to update to 7.7 this morning.
