So I have all my iPod songs in my iTunes library. My dad recently got an iPod and I've been downloading some songs for him. What can I do to have his songs in one library and mines in another? Bc now all his songs are on my iPod bc everything is now in one library.. My library. When I plug in his iPod I'm able to drag and drop only the songs he wants to his iPod but that's not the case for when my iPhone is plugged in

Hold the option key while clicking on iTunes and choose "create new library". I keep my library on a external drive but I have my songs all "organized". When I go to load a bunch of new music, I don't like that it puts it randomly throughout my library so I create a new library to load those songs, then I edit all their info, tags etc.ect.etc.. Then I just import that iTunes folder into my main iTunes library and they're right where I want them. "aint it cool" :)
