Does anyone know what directory iTunes stores songs on the iPhone? I was wondering if I could upload a ringtone via iTunes and then move the file to the ringtones folder?

Unless someone else knows a better way of uploading a ringtone onto the 1.1.1 iPhone?

Whats the point of moving the ringtone over to another folder?

Is it because you are using SwapTunes and noticing that your Ringtones are changing when you're in another iTunes library? If so, let me know, there's an addition to the bash file you can add to avoid the Ringtone mixup when swapping iTunes libraries.

No, I am taking a MP3 file, chopping it up and uploading it onto my iPhone as a song, not a ringtone. I am then thinking can I move this MP3 (now a m4r) to the ringtones folder and use it as a ring tone.
