Hi,

I have a factory unlocked (AT&T) iPhone 4 with ios 5.1.1 and modem firmware 04.12.01. I would be jailbreaking it with Absinthe 2.0.4.

1.Now , my question is should i preserve this baseband before i JB this phone , as in future if i need to unjailbreak this could help me.

2.Again if i unjailbreak, will my phone become locked again?

3.If so would it possible to unlock my phone?

4. Is baseband preservation needed only for ios update or its needed even for JB?

5. How can i unjailbreak my phone?

Thanks, Avi :)

Factory unlock will not be adversely affected by jailbreak.
No need to worry about your current baseband, that is only a concern if you are not factory unlocked. Has nothing to do with jailbreak.
A restore to factory settings will wipe jailbreak.
