I already have an iPhone already unlocked (factory unlock), but I want to install cydia, and the only way to get the real cydia app, is to jailbreak it.
My question is: If I jailbreak it will it lock my phone up?
Also, is there a jailbreak app that has an option to install just cydia without Jailbrak?
By the way I have an iPhone 4 5.1.1 Firmware 4.12.01

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but factory unlock should not be adversely affected by JB.
Absinthe will jailbreak your 4 running iOS 5.1.1.
Only way to gain access to Cydia is via jailbreak.

    1. It's fine to jailbreak it. It will not lock it.
    2. No. You have to jailbreak to install Cydia.
