Hey,

Has anyone notice a loss of 2+ bars in signal strength after jailbreaking? At work I would get full bars. But since jailbreaking, sometimes I get at most 2 bars...

No problems whatsoever for me...what programs did you download along with JB?

I'm actually sitting in my dentists office now. Inalways would get full edge strength. Now I have full 3G strength. Maybe something wacky is going on with AT&T.

Never noticed that, just horrible lag.

I personally can't stand having my iPhone jailbroken.

Yeah. I wish I didn't pay for a couple Cydia apps. Then my iPhone would not be jailbroken now.

Yep IMO it's completely over rated hype. It's like your uncool if you don't JB.

I'd rather have a responsive tool than a lagging "toy".

Well, I've had the exact opposite happen for me. Prior to jb'g, I had wifi drops happen all the time at home and my voice signal strength sucked, with an average of 3 bars all the time all over town (L.A., AT&T). Now, post-jb my wifi is strong, I can use iTap with no drops and continuous connectivity and my voice signals even work in the dead zones I experienced in the hills by Mulholland. A blessing in disguise?

It was only last night after I kept installing apps and reinstalling them (user error, I'm still a newb) I had trouble with signal strength and I had some wifi issues with iTap, but I think it was corrected by undoing some changes. I don't know if I was overloading the phone's resources. I think my connectivity has been improved by far though.
