Jeff Han's touch screen work

    I'm excited about the iPhone primarily because it will be the first commercial product to incorporate a touch screen interface. While the touch screen interface appears to be limited, it's a landmark.

    Jeff Han is a researcher at NYU. He first became widely known through his TED Conference presentation

    and there are several YouTube postings of his presentations.

    I've seen one post (can't find it now) claiming that Apple tried to hire him to work on the iPhone, but he wouldn't leave his lab.

    Yeah, thanks for sharing, that is really cool. It is amazing what technology can do nowadays, adn that video is over a year old! Can't wait for 10 years to pass and I have a tablet PC like that, haha.
