GOLLY FOLKS. The big one-six. I guess there's just one thing to do...

I need a job.

Any suggestions?

Good luck I work in retail and we start hiring those that are 17 and older. Which I don't understand since you can drive at 16. You are probably going to have to stick to McDonalds or places like that for now thats what I did when I was that age. Good Luck and happy birthday

Yeah, I don't get my license until February, damn my school for not offering Driver's Ed... Oh well though. Once that rolls around, hopefully, I won't have a hard time gettin' a job.

The job choices will be limited but a grocery store or something similar is always a possibility. Happy belated and good luck on getting your license.

Happy BD, you shouldn't have a problem getting a job in Houston.

Happy belated, Shawn. I didn't actually have a job until my first year back from college, and that was Dairy Queen. I also worked in college at Barnes and Noble. As boring as the latter was, I would recommend any sales position over any food service. But in this economy, just take what you can get and make the most of it.
