Has anyone tried the modification for Android like keyboard on a 4s? I am using iBackupBot, I cannot find the keyboard plist file in the library preferences.
I can find it no problem on my wifes 3gs .
Any help?
Thanks
Tom

I did the camera mod and saved the file then down loaded it back but it didn't seem to change anything?
Thanks

I try that. I put it right after the disc space line and am restoring now. If it doesn't work Ill move it down.
I sure would like to find the keyboard plist file...

I just tried it; didn't work. In iBackupBot, I opened the com.apple.keyboard.plist file and just added the code that it said on the next line (line 9) just as it was written, and hit save. Then I closed the box and clicked on the file again to reopen the box, but the code did not save. I tried it with the <> symbols and without, but both times it did not save it. What am I doing wrong?

The same thing happened to me on the 3GS. It wouldn't save. It was like iBackupBot froze up when I hit the Save button. Has anyone gotten this to work?

I have not checked further to the keyboard
But just from adding gestures to my iPad ( before release) and now the panoramic camera it seems location of the added key or string seems important
I may not have time to try until later
But I go tinker with it again. Am not to interested in TKD keyboard I have Siri and the speak thinggy what ever it's called

If you guys have followed the correct steps and your iDevice is jailbroken...you may only see the keyboard mod only when in Safe Mode...
Thats what happened for me....

So has anyone found the keyboard plist file on a 4s? Not really sure the panorama or keyboard updates are worth it. Just like experimenting.

I think I figured it out instead of looking for keyboard just open preferences and then look for key board
enter the key and then the string
I have not done first need to back up with the new settings I applied earlier

It's not a cool mod...when you write a word you have to confirm each word to continue....a hassle to restore back again...

Yup, it's not useable. I posted comments and screenshots in the iOS treasures thread.
