Everyone should take the time to check out the symptoms of depression.

A friend of mine that I haven't seen in years was apparently going through an emotional time after a break up. He was driving and pulled his car over on the side of the road and then walked into the path of a semi truck. I don't know what was going through his mind to lead him to that course of action. It just seems like maybe if someone had paid more attention or showed a little more interest then perhaps he wouldn't have felt that was the only way.

If you know anyone going through a rough time or if there is someone that just hasn't been themselves lately... Talk to them. Ask what's wrong and help them see that there is always hope.

I am sorry for your loss, Hayes. I've read about a lot of similar cases but don't know any of them. I sure hope people can start learning from others' mistakes and not let "depression" get to them.
