The highly anticipated move to an iPhone with larger screens will feature an all-new design. The 4.7-inch display (resolution of 1334×750 at 326ppi) will be the smaller of the two designs and will be available in Q3. A larger 5.5-inch model (1920×1080 at 401ppi)won’t be available to later in the year. This coincides with a recent Reuters report that manufacturers will start producing the smaller screens by the end of May, with the larger 5.5-inch displays running off production lines much later. They will both feature an A8 processor, 1GB of RAM, LTPS Panels, OIS (optical image stabilization) and Touch ID. The bezel will be narrower by 10 to 20 percent. Kuo says that Apple’s new sapphire display will be available only on the 64GB 5.5-inch model. The sleep/wake button could also move to the side of the new iPhone, similar to what we’ve seen in early conceptual renders of the iPhone 6.
